No credit check
The amount you can borrow is based on the value of your item.
Interest charged daily
You pay interest for the time the loan is outstanding rather than automatically paying for a full month.
Make payments during the term
Pay any amount at any time to reduce your balance and the cost of your loan.
Your item is held securely
You retain ownership while the loan remains within the agreed terms.
What identification should I bring?
Your item is security for the loan
If the loan is not repaid, renewed or otherwise dealt with by the agreed deadline, your item may be sold to repay the debt. The treatment of unredeemed items depends on the agreement and applicable rules. Read your agreement carefully and contact us before the deadline if you need help.

Your questions answered
Do you carry out a credit check?
No. The loan is secured against your item and the amount offered is based on its assessed value. You will still need to provide the required identification and complete an agreement.
How long can I borrow for?
The published initial term is up to six months. Your agreement will state the repayment date and all applicable terms.
Can I repay early?
Yes. Interest accrues daily, so repaying the loan earlier reduces the interest payable. Ask the store for the exact settlement amount on the day you intend to collect.
Can I make part-payments?
Yes. You can make payments during the loan term to reduce the outstanding balance and the interest that accrues.
What happens if I cannot repay by the deadline?
Contact the Romford store before your deadline to discuss the options available under your agreement. If the loan is not repaid or renewed, your item may be sold to repay the debt.
Is pawnbroking the same as buyback?
No. A pawnbroking agreement is a regulated loan secured against your item, and you retain ownership. Under buyback, you sell the item with an option to buy it back within the agreed period. Ask our team to explain which service may be available for your item.
